This blog is about the journeys of Bob and Sandy Tallman and son Douglas and his wife Renee’s journey from Bob and Sandy’s home in northwestern PA south and on to Alaska, November 2016 – September 2017. They will be joined in February 2017 for the remainder of the adventure by brother Jim and then on occasion by brother Dick and his wife Dwayne. This journey is unique in that all four Tallmans own Newmar Dutch Star rigs (ranging from 37′ to 43″ and 2013 to 2016) and tow Jeeps, three Grand Cherokees (2016-2917) and a Jeep Wrangler. New locales, golf, local foods, sights and family are the focus. We will stay in county, state and national parks, RV resorts and WalMart/Flying J/Pilot etc. parking lots. We have begun this journey with the blessings and hopes of friends and family. Our posts will include experiences, opinions and pictures. Our goal is to document this experience and share it with those who are interested.
